It’s important to learn how to use your small bits of time, your five minutes, your ten minutes. All those begin to count up…Don’t wait until your children are grown…Learn how to use your snatches of time when they are given to you.– Ruth Asawa
Blobs–As the virus intensified last April in New York, lockdown life became a blur of childcare and ever-troubling news. Like many families in the pandemic, household responsibilities feel to me as my husband, in medicine, was needed. I began to form blobs at night–after putting my kids to bed–harnessing unspent creative energy. This late night shape shifting became a place to wrestle with daily events. Months later, the blobs continue to be a hopeful, nightly retreat. Algorithmic curves, bright flavors, crisp lines, squishy shapes, overlapping goodness, love, joy… Follow the blobs on Instagram. Join me, in full color, forward.
